  26. Prof. Misra's students and he have been selected to receive The GYTI Award – 2018, which was received from the President of India for the socially relevant innovation "Batteryless IoT Sensing Node". It can be used by farmers for monitoring agricultural field parameters.

  32. Prof. Misra's students and he have been selected to receive certificate of appreciation at IEEE ComSoc Student Competition "Communications Technology Changing the World", 2014 for being ranked among the top 9 projects.

  33. Won the 3rd Prize in Samsung Innovation Awards 2014 for the product Big-Sensor-Cloud. The award was judged based on the "degree of innovation, feasibility, usability, relevance and market impact". The award ceremony was held on October 28, 2014 at IIT Kharagpur.

  34. Won the IETE-Biman Behari Sen Memorial Award-2014. Given by the Institution of Electronics and Communication Engineers (IETE), India, in recognition of "valuable contribution on a wide range of fundamental and applications oriented problems in emerging communication network technologies".
