Citation Network Dataset: Author: Tanmoy Chakraborty Email: its_tanmoy@yahoo.co.in / its_tanmoy@cse.iitkgp.ernet.in Date of release: Aug 25, 2013 http://cnerg.org http://cse.iitkgp.ac.in/~tanmoyc This is a publication dataset of computer science domain that covers major metadata of the papers published within 1960-2009. It was constructed using the DBLP web repository which contains information about various research papers from different fields of computer science domain. This information includes the name of the research paper, index of the paper, its author(s), continent(s) of the author(s)(North America, Europe and others), the year of publication, the publication venue, field of the paper, the list of research papers the given paper cites and (in some cases) the abstract of the papers. From this dataset, one con construct a paper-paper citation network. If a paper i cites paper j, the graph contains a directed edge from i to j. If a paper cites, or is cited by, a paper outside the dataset, the graph does not contain any information about this. Metadata tags: #* Title of the paper #@ Author(s) of the paper (separated bt comma) #l continent(s) of the author(s) (separated by comma) #t year of publication #c venue of publication (conference/journal) #f related field(s) of the paper #index Unique ID of the paper #% Reference ID of those papers which the given paper cites (if available) #! Abstract of the paper (if available) Availability: The sample network is posted in the following two sites: http://cenrg.org http://cse.iitkgp.ac.in/~tanmoyc The entire dataset is publicly available for the research community on request basis.
