IoT for Smart Healthcare

The features of Internet of things (IoT) enable a smart healthcare system to observe the important physiological parameters of a remote patient. In existing literature, such system collects the different parameters of a patient using the pervasive, ubiquitous, non-invasive, and wearable IoT sensors such as finger-tip body temperature sensor, pulse-oxy meter, ECG, and EMG. For archiving purpose, these collected data are sent to a remote cloud server over a IoT network. Using such system, a doctor monitors a health critical patient remotely and provides aid accordingly.
