Final Year Undergraduate, IIT Kharagpur
I am a final year Undergraduate student of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. I completed my schooling from M.P. Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School, Kolkata.
My primary research interest lies in the field of Systems and Networks, although I am also fairly intrigued by the applications of Artificial Intelligence.

The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is an autonomous engineering, technology and management oriented institute of higher education established by the government of India in 1951. The first of the IITs to be established, it is recognised as an Institute of National Importance by the government of India.
The institute was established to train scientists and engineers after India attained independence in 1947. It shares its organisational structure and undergraduate admission process with sister IITs. The students and alumni of IIT Kharagpur are informally referred to as KGPians. Among all IITs, IIT Kharagpur has the largest campus (2,100 acres), the most departments, and the highest student enrollment.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, was formed in 1980. The first undergraduate batch rolled out in the year 1982 and the first PhD was awarded in 1986. Currently the department has nearly 300 undergraduate students (BTech and Dual), nearly 60 postgraduate students (MTech) and around 60 research students (MS and PhD).
Since its inception, the department has always been recognized all over the world for excellence in research and teaching. The Department provides an outstanding research environment complemented by superior teaching for its students to flourish in. Graduates from the department are heavily recruited by both academia and industry. All over the world, ex-students of the Department occupy top positions in both academia and industry.

M.P.Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School is a school in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It has around 2,700 students. It is coeducational and teaches in English. The school started in 1988.
The principal of the school is Mr. Herbert George, who started his tenure in the year 1989. It is located in James Long Sarani, Behala, Kolkata. It follows the CISCE board of education. The school followed CBSE before switching to CISCE.
