Department of Computer Science & Engineering, I.I.T. Kharagpur organizes a short term course entitled “Data Mining and Image Analytics for Medical Informatics” from 8th April, 2013 to 12th April, 2013.

 

Overview:

The course is intended to provide tutorial on fundamentals of data mining, image analytics and information retrieval. It will also cover the state of art in medical informatics, medical image processing and healthcare informatics. Finally, the course will present applications of the data mining and analytics tools to problems in medical informatics. At the end of the course participants are expected to be conversant with cutting edge in medical informatics. They will also be equiped to apply these techniques to real life problems. Several real life applications will be discussed by industry experts.
