Currently, I am a final year student in the department of
Computer Science and Engineering
at
Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
I have always been fascinated by the field of Computer Science. I believe that research and innovations in this field are necessary
for making our lives better. My interest lies in the field of Social Computing. I find the applications of Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning in this area wonderful. In this age of digitalization where every indivisual is trying to acquire a footprint, the study of social medias helps us in understanding our community in a better way. What is more challenging than understanding humans right?
Apart from academics, I am a passionate swimmer. I have been swimming since my childhood days. When I was a kid, I swam a distance of 5km in the Arabian Sea within an hour. I along with my fellow team-mates represent my college at Inter-IIT Aquatics Meets. Nothing can beat these awesome experiences.
The other noteworthy interest in my life is travelling. I have been to various places, from praying in the holiest shrines, to trekking on the highest mountains in Kanchenjunga. Travelling gives me an opportunity to observe different people, grab awesome food and shoot photographs. I won't call myself a photographer, but I certainly have a thing for it.
There's got to be more to life than fighting for fish heads!
