  Iterative and recursive programming using C/C++. Searching and sorting. Notion of time and space complexity.

  Lists, stacks, queues. Heaps and priority queues. Binary trees and binary search trees. Algorithm design techniques (divide-and-conquer, greedy, dynamic programming). Graph representation and algorithms.

  Process creation. Inter-process communication. Shared memory and semaphores. Parallel thread programming.
