The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has a thriving research environment with several active research groups pursuing deeply involved problems in a wide variety of domains and regularly publishing in top academic conferences and journals. The department executes a wide variety of industry scale as well as open ended research projects. PhDs from this department occupy top positions in both academia and industry all over the world.
Research Promotion Workshop (RPW) 2017 is an annual event to be organized by the department showcasing the latest technical achievements in CS research. The technical program, as highlighted next, shall comprise interesting talks and demonstrations delivered by faculty members and research scholars of the department.
