How to reach Campus at IIT Kharagpur ?

Reaching IIT Campus from Kharagpur Station :
IIT Kharagpur is located 5 Km from Kharagpur Railway Station. Taxi / Auto / Rickshaw are available at fares Rs. 120/80/40 (Approx.) from Kharagpur station to IIT Kharagpur.

Reaching IIT Campus from Kolkata Airport :
Situated about 120 km west of Kolkata. Taxis are available from Kolkata Airport to Howrah station and the fare is about Approx. Rs. 300/- or AC Buses are available from Kolkata Airport to Howrah station and the fare is about Approx. Rs. 100/-. Any Local or Express train from Howrah station to Kharagpur station (2 to 3 hrs journey). Alternatively, taxis can be taken from Kolkata Airport to IIT Campus and the fare is about Approx. Rs. 2700/- (3 to 4 hrs journey). Kharagpur is also connected by direct train services to most major cities of the country.
