REGISTRATION and ACCOMMODATION

ACCOMMODATION:

As good hotel accommodation is not available in Kharagpur, all registrants are encouraged to stay inside the IIT Kharagpur campus where sufficient rooms/beds are reserved for CALDAM 2019 registrants in IIT Guest Houses.

Foreign registrants can avail transit accommodation in IIT Guest House in Salt Lake, Kolkata, which is about half an hour by taxi from Kolkata international airport.

Foreign registrants have the option of including accommodation charges when they pay the registration fees. All registrants can choose the option of paying their respective accommodation charges at the time of checkout.

It take about three hours by taxi to travel from Kolkata international airport to IIT Kharagpur campus and costs approximately Rs. 4500 for a full taxi. Taxis can be arranged for airport pickup and drop on request.

At least one author of each accepted paper must register in the appropriate category in order for the paper to be included in the conference proceedings. If an author has two or more papers, then one different author for every paper must register. Registration (regular or student) includes admission to all technical sessions, lunches, tea/coffee and banquet dinner.
